Daylight Savings AKA Bed Time

Sunday, day one of Daylight Savings was tough, and I'm not sure why. We had taken Kanon to his favorite (for now...lol) place "Kids At Play" so that he could engage and socialize with other children his age. The girls were definitely off their schedule and we didn't get home until around 5:30. It takes some time to feed and change everyone, then shift gears and prepare my four children for bedtime. So, was it really a tough day, or a long day, or was I projecting? My bet is it was a little bit of everything. Through it all, I try to stay positive.

I realized that I start putting the girls down around 6:30pm, LOL so to stretch the time to 7:30 seemed like forever for me and everyone was a little irritable.  I immediately started researching black out shades, but thankfully everyone was finally down by 8pm. By then, I was a little worn out myself.

Monday seemed a lot better, the girls got a bath and were tired by the time I finished dressing them.  Around  7pm, even though it was still light out,  I viewed it as a nap and when I put them down, I really didn't expect them to go fully to sleep like at bed time. But by 7:30 they were all asleep...success!!!  I think by not having any expectations I lucked out.

Tuesday proceeded a lot like Monday, except for the bath, so we'll see how well today goes. Again, I'm thinking positively!  Oh, and another great thing happened yesterday, Bailey only woke up once during the night and she had two great stretches of sleep/nap time!!  I was shocked myself and kept checking on her. Well, let's see if we get a repeater tonight!
