HI Everyone!
We're in the midst of getting used to a new schedule with Bryant back working. We've both been "nesting" and I love it. Trying to get the house ready for not only the girls but our son and family who will be by to help. :)
I'm 21 weeks now, and we're about 11 weeks until my C section, so the time crunch is on. We're making progress every day and it's great to see. Kanon's new big boy room is about 95% done and the nursery is starting to take form. I'll do as much as I can to decorate and make it look visually appealing, but I'm sure it won't be until the babies arrive that the functionality of the room will actually take place.
We're also starting get into the details of the shower, which will be at the end July, so registering, getting everything on the registry and getting those details finalized is going to be a big group effort. Food is my priority for that event, LOL. Just want to make sure it's food I eat and that it tastes good!
I talked to a "Registation Counselor" yesterday, she called unsolicited to see if everything went well at her store. I told her the bigger, important items hadn't been selected because I couldn't find a triplet stroller that has coordinating car seats. She then asked if I was having triplets?! HELLO... that information was on my registration form. Anyway, she said she'd call me back, but once she did, she wasn't able to offer anymore information. She added that her store did offer a triplet stroller but no coordinating car seats.
Surprisingly, she did point me in the direction of a different baby store chain. After getting some help from my supervisor at work, I think I may have found the perfect stroller/car seat combo. It's called the Peg Perego Triplet Stroller. It seems a little pricey at first but if you factor in 3 car seats, 3 bases, 3 stroller seats, and what they are calling the chassis, which is the frame, then it doesn't seem as costly. I've seen it on Ebay, Buy Buy Baby and Amazon. I've even seen a floor model that's a little less expensive, so this may very well be our option. I'll stalk it for a little while, but other than getting a new car to accommodate everyone I'll be happy when this is checked off the list.
